In Bolton, no other engagement activity has taken place with the public on the subject of LCO’s and so patients views on how a good Local Care Organisation would shape up were not known. We undertook engagement work to find out their views.
A questionnaire was developed by Healthwatch Oldham and built on work done by some Greater Manchester LINks who had looked at patient transport in previous years. Nine local Healthwatch undertook the durvey as a joint piece of work.
This report is part of a project commissioned from Healthwatch Bolton by Bolton GP Federation. The work took place at various sites in the Chorley Roads area.
Our proposal was to work with staff from ‘NHS Business Services, employees used allocated annual volunteering time to gather interview responses from their colleagues covering views on working well on local services, workplace health and dentistry.
